Haugaard|Braad is advising EnergyTech Estate on Haraldsgård, one of the largest urban development projects undertaken in Hobro in recent years.

The project will transform a central area of the Danish city around Adelgade, Skibsgade and Nytorv into a new mixed-use urban district combining housing, retail and commercial activity.

The development includes the modernisation and significant expansion of the existing Føtex supermarket, which will become the project's principal anchor tenant. Two existing buildings will be demolished to make way for approximately 70 new homes, commercial premises and a new multi-storey car park.

EnergyTech Estate's ambition for Haraldsgård is to contribute to the continued development of central Hobro, creating a vibrant new neighbourhood where retail, residential life and the wider city centre are more closely connected.

Legal support from development to implementation

Haugaard|Braad has advised EnergyTech Estate since the earliest stages of the project and continues to provide legal support as the development progresses.

The firm's work covers a broad range of real estate and development matters, including property and parking-area acquisitions, development agreements, commercial leases, planning and construction matters.

Haugaard|Braad has also advised on the termination of existing commercial tenancies and the negotiation and conclusion of the lease agreement with Salling Group, as well as archaeological matters and the tendering of the design-and-build contract.

With a project of this scale involving multiple stakeholders and complex contractual relationships, the firm's role includes ongoing legal advice and coordination throughout the development and implementation process.
