JLSW Janaszczyk Lis & Wspólnicy Law Firm supported the Sireco Group in an M&A transaction in the waste management sector.

Today, transactions in the environmental sector require much more than standard M&A documentation. They combine corporate, regulatory, environmental, and operational aspects, and their successful execution requires efficient coordination of the process from due diligence through to post-closing activities.

Our support included the preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation, coordination of closing conditions, participation in the completion of the transaction, and post-transaction activities related to the change of control, corporate changes, and registration filings.

The project concerned a business regulated by administrative decisions and permits, where legal, environmental, and operational issues are closely interconnected. It is a good example of a transaction in which M&A experience must go hand in hand with an understanding of the specific characteristics of the industry.

The transaction reflects the increasing complexity of environmental-sector M&A deals, where corporate, regulatory, environmental, and operational considerations are closely interconnected.
