Ezra Hammer is a results-oriented land use attorney. Ezra is passionate about housing, construction, and development and their nexus with local land use regulatory systems. He leverages over a decade of experience in land use, development, and housing sectors to help his clients secure complex land use and building approvals. He has a deep knowledge of local and state government policies pertaining to land use development and long-range planning coupled with an outstanding understanding of municipal laws and procedures. Originally hailing from California where he worked as a land use planner in Los Angeles, he moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2019.
Prior to joining Jordan Ramis, Ezra served as an executive team member at a national homebuilder, where he oversaw day-to-day operations across multiple departments including acquisitions, development, construction, sales, and home warranty. Previously, he ran the government affairs department for the regional chapter of the Home Builders Association, a preeminent trade organization for the homebuilding and construction industries.
Dan has a broad litigation-based practice that includes disputes both large and small. With decades of experience and admission in three states (Oregon, Washington and California), he represents clients in various fields of law. Dan’s practice includes among other areas, employment issues, creditors’ rights (including litigating fraudulent transfer matters) and corporate/commercial business matters ranging from internal membership to international contract disputes.
He employs a balance of being an aggressive advocate when needed while also being reasonable and solution-oriented. Through every stage of the litigation process, he works collaboratively with his clients and remains focused on their best interests. He also strives to help his clients avoid litigation whenever possible.
Prior to joining Jordan Ramis PC, Dan’s practice included the prosecution of complex high profile qui tam and whistleblower actions under California’s Insurance Fraud Prevention Act, and California’s Unfair Competition Act and Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act. Dan’s varied experience enables him to think creatively and deliver successful results through negotiations, arbitration, mediation, and litigation in both state and federal courts.
Outside of the office, you can find Dan riding motorcycles, playing guitar, or hitting a heavy bag.
