For thirty years, Legal Netlink Alliance has served the needs of clients worldwide.
Within days of release, the three-part documentary became the most-streamed programme on Netflix in the United Kingdom, drawing significant public attention for its gripping account of a real-life criminal case and the investigation surrounding the disappearance of a cyclist during a charity ride in 2017.
The series follows the story of how Dr Caroline Muirhead became a key witness in uncovering the circumstances surrounding the victim’s disappearance and death, combining investigative storytelling with extensive factual reconstruction.

Levy & McRae advised Candle True Stories throughout the production process, drawing on the firm’s combined expertise in media law and criminal defence — a particularly valuable combination in the context of high-profile documentary productions involving sensitive factual and legal issues.
The legal team was led by Senior Partner David McKie, with significant involvement from Senior Solicitor Olivia Robertson.
Commenting on the project, David McKie said:
“This is a compelling true story which CTS have told brilliantly. It is fabulous that Netflix are supporting and promoting it so prominently, as it deserves. The energy of the team pulling it all together was inspirational and it was a real privilege for us to play our part in the production process.”
Olivia Robertson added:
“It was a joy to be a part of a project like this. The team at Candle True Stories have created a truly gripping story and I am not in the least surprised it has reached the number one spot on Netflix in the UK.”

The matter highlights Levy & McRae’s continued involvement in high-profile media and entertainment projects, particularly where media production intersects with complex legal and reputational considerations.
