Wintertaling is excited to announce that we are advising SPIE on its intended acquisition of Strukton's Grid Solutions business unit.

The Wintertaling team is led by Marein Smits and further consists of Thédoor Melchers, Thom Schölvinck, Esra Koopman, Lisette Oosterveen and Julien van Oosten.

With this acquisition, SPIE aims to continue the consolidation of its footprint in the Netherlands' energy market. It follows SPIE's earlier acquisition of Strukton's Worksphere division in 2022, in which Wintertaling also assisted SPIE.

Also, earlier this year, Wintertaling M&A team is very pleased to announce that we have assisted SPIE Netherlands on its acquisition of 100% of IMI Aero-Dynamiek from IMI PLC (LSE: IMI). SPIE is the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications. IMI Aero-Dynamiek is a company with locations in the Netherlands and Belgium, which contributes to making buildings more sustainable by measuring, validating and optimizing climate systems.
