With more than 20 years of estate planning experience for high-net-worth individuals and business owners, Jennifer is well-acquainted with sophisticated wealth preservation and gifting strategies as well as leveraging tax considerations to minimize liabilities and structure wealth transfer plans that maintain flexibility. She has extensive experience advising clients with respect to income, corporate, estate, gift and generation-skipping tax matters as well as compliance and audit examinations.

After earning her B.B.A. in Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jennifer earned her law degree from DePaul University College of Law. Before joining Aronberg Goldgehn, she was a partner at a well-established Chicago corporate law firm. Prior to that, she practiced at two other Chicago law firms where she drafted sophisticated estate plans for ultra-high net worth individuals and families with generational wealth.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Jennifer joined Aronberg Goldgehn in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, she was a partner in the Trust and Estates Group at HMB Legal Counsel in Chicago. Jennifer previously practiced at a boutique law firm and an AmLaw 100 firm in Chicago, where she drafted complex estate plans for families with net worth exceeding $2 billion.
Jennifer was recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business on its 2024 Notable Women Lawyers list. She holds a Legal Lean Sigma Yellow Belt Certification in Legal Process and Project Management.
COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT
Jennifer has a strong commitment to pro bono legal service. She has provided no-cost legal services to seniors and clients of the Center for Disability and Elder Law and the Heartland Alliance in Chicago, as well as provided no-cost income tax preparation for low-income clients of Ladder Up, an organization that provides tax assistance and financial resources to qualifying individuals.
Jennifer is also involved in the Park Ridge community and has served as a walkathon chairperson for Eugene Field Elementary School.
