Seiller Waterman's Ryan McCray Presents on NIL

Jul 16, 2024 – Louisville, Kentucky

Ryan McCray, Co-Founder and Co-Chair of the Seiller Waterman Sports Law Practice Group, will present “Athletes Need a Coach (Attorney) to Compete in the NIL Landscape,” to the student athletes in the 1+1=U Mentorship Program on July 24, 2024. The 1+1=U Mentorship Program works with teens and young adults, encouraging and supporting high school completion and post-secondary education. Several former program mentees have found life altering success through sports. Ryan’s presentation is based on the above-mentioned article co-written with Sport Law Practice Group Co-Founder and Co-Chair Rebecca Saksefski, recently published by the Legal Netlink Alliance in its Spring 2024 newsletter. The presentation will cover evolving NIL law in college athletics as well as tips for student athletes considering NIL contract opportunities.
